As another year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible projects we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of this year. From stunning custom homes and cottages to transformative renovations, each project is a testament to creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration with our amazing clients and industry partners. Looking ahead to 2025, we are thrilled to preview some of the exciting projects we have on the horizon as we continue to create spaces that truly feel like home. Custom Cottages
It has been another busy year for us out at CottageClub and we have sincerely enjoyed being a part of so many incredible projects in the community. It has been such a privilege to walk alongside each of our amazing clients and help to bring their visions for their new homes to life in a way that is uniquely tailored to their personal styles and preferences. Here is a quick glimpse into each of these beautiful homes!
Coastal Rustic Cottage
The first cottage we completed was the Coastal Rustic Cottage. Located in one of CottageClub’s most desirable phases, this custom home’s rustic style blends beautifully with the laidback, relaxed vibes of the West Coast creating a truly stunning getaway for the happy homeowners to enjoy with friends and family alike.
Timeless Woodland Cottage
We also completed the Timeless Woodland Cottage, where rustic meets refined in a classic farmhouse style. Tucked away on one of CottageClub’s most secluded properties, this timeless, custom-built cottage fully embraces its panoramic views of the surrounding forested landscape.
Organic Modern Cottage
Last, but certainly not least, we completed the construction of the Organic Modern Cottage. Nestled on the shores of CottageClub, this custom cottage exemplifies modern craftsmanship and thoughtful design, perfectly blending modern elegance with the warmth and charm of organic style.
649 CottageClub Bend
We also completed the construction of one of our new spec homes: 649 CottageClub Bend. This brand new, quick-possession home truly offers an unparalleled living experience with its breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and the meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful design reflected throughout.
In addition to these cottages, we also had the opportunity to build several new accessory buildings for our clients, one of which required a crane to move it temporarily so we could construct a full foundation for the once-skidded structure. This was truly an impressive feat, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure the success of the project.
Custom New Builds
This fall we started the construction of one of our most unique custom homes yet, located near Water Valley. Affectionately named the “New Old House”, part of the home is being constructed from a restored 100+ year old log cabin, while the rest of the home will be brand new but made to look like a restored piece of history.
Construction of this new home is underway and we are looking forward to sharing more of this one-of-a-kind custom home in the new year!
Renovations
Throughout the year we have also had the opportunity to complete several renovations and to navigate through the design process for several full-scale renovations, including a complete update of the interior and exterior of the Anatapi Residence.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we look forward to a new year, we are very excited for all the new projects we have in store. First thing in the new year, we will kick things off by finishing up a stunning custom cottage coming soon to CottageClub Grove as well as another brand new spec home at 648 CottageClub Bend.
We will also finish up the design for and start the construction of several more custom cottages. Here is a sneak peek of some of the new custom homes you can look forward to seeing around CottageClub in 2025:
In addition to these incredible cottages, we will also complete the design for two brand new custom homes. The first will be a country acreage home nestled in the rolling foothills of the Rockies west of Calgary.
The second will be a new custom home in Altadore, one of Calgary’s premier neighbourhoods.
As we look back at the incredible projects we have been a part of in 2024 and look ahead to the exciting projects of 2025, we are so grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us to bring their visions to life and to our amazing network of industry partners who help to make it happen.
