01 Meet & Greet

Trust is foundational to a good home-building experience, which is why we first invite you to have a meet and greet with our team. This allows us to have the opportunity to get to know you and your vision for your home and (most importantly) it gives you the chance to get to know us. We welcome any questions you may have about designing or building a custom home and are here to help in whatever way we can.

02 Design Made Simple

Design Concept

If you decide to move forward with the design of your custom home, we will recommend an architectural design team based on your ideas, style, and preferences. Once approved, we will collaborate with you and the architectural design team to create the plans for your new home. We start with a preliminary design meeting to review any conceptual ideas you may have and begin to craft the initial floor plans for your new home. If you already have a design team or architect in mind, we will set up a time to meet with you and their team to see how we can best support the design process for your new home.

Design Development

Throughout the development of your design, we offer our vast expertise in building custom homes and will collaborate with you to refine the plans for your home. We will also provide insightful feedback on the mechanical and structural components of your home, ensuring those details are carefully thought through and accurately reflected in the design. Last, but certainly not least, we will provide preliminary cost estimates for your home so you can make informed decisions during the process and ensure the design of your home aligns with your budget.

Design Completion

During the design process, we will also apply for the Development Permit, if required. When the Development Permit has been approved, we will obtain the structural engineering for your home and work with the architectural design team to complete the detailed working drawings, so everything is ready for construction. From there we will tender the drawings to our network of skilled trades in order to present you with the best possible price with no hidden surprises.

03 Ready, Let’s Build

When you are ready to get started, you will then sign a Construction Contract for the construction of your new home. We will then apply for the Building Permit.

The construction schedule may differ slightly from home to home and can be influenced by factors such as weather, layout, and trade availability, however, we generally follow this order of construction:

Backfill
Framing
Rough-Ins
Drywall

Millwork
Finishing
Countertops
Tile & Flooring
Finals
Possession!

We understand how exciting it is to see your home come to life! That’s why we schedule periodic walkthroughs with you so you can see the various stages of the build first-hand. Our team will accompany you on these walkthroughs to make sure everything is just right.
