The homeowners of the Ogden Residence wanted to do something with their property that could both be enjoyed by their family now and be a wise investment for their future. Their initial thought was to demolish the existing home on the property and build a brand new home, but as we discussed the details, they realized that plan didn’t align with their goals for their property.

So, they decided to renovate the existing home instead! We looked at the current floor plan and structure and identified what worked for them and what they wanted to change, and we came up with a plan that would completely update their home inside and out. The result? Their once tired and outdated home is now a modernized masterpiece that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

The newly renovated Ogden Residence now fully embraces its modern style with its sharp silhouettes, clean lines, and angular shapes. Structurally, one of the most significant changes we made to the home to achieve this was the reworking of the roof lines. This change enabled us to give the bungalow’s exterior façade an entirely new look and style and gave us the opportunity to incorporate vaulted ceilings throughout the main living area and kitchen.

Through this extensive renovation, we also updated all the interior finishes throughout, including all new custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, durable luxury vinyl plank flooring and tile finishes. We utilized warm colors and hues throughout to soften the modern style of the home and ultimately create a bright, airy and inviting living space for the happy homeowners.
